Godfall is a looter-slasher Action-RPG developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox. The game releases on November 12th 2020 on PS5 and PC (Epic Games Store).

I joined the team 10 months before the end of production as a Senior, then Lead Animator.

- I've worked on every Player animation that involved Mocap (Locomotion, Traversal, Idles, Hit Responses...) and various non-combat interactions (weapon switching, looting, healing...).

- For certain animations, I've only done polish, based on the prototype animation of other animators.

- I was also responsible for improving and fine tuning Animation Blueprints for multiple Enemies and systems (not shown here).


Fire & Darkness released on August 10th 2021 on PS5, PS4 and PC (Epic Games Store).

I have worked on the expansion as Lead Animation, on Animation content, Animation Blueprint and various systems setup, team mentorship, additional rigging as well as Mocap direction.

- I was responsible for every animation presented in the F&D video except Flameblood Devastator's idles. 

- The motion capture was recorded at SuperAlloy Interactive and performed by Robert Dill and Eric Jacobus.


I wanna shout a big thanks to the whole team at CPG, GBX and SAI for this amazing project. In particular the animation team who pulled off an insane amount of work, the engineering team who gave outstanding support, and the design and production team, for making a great game!
